Saturday, January 6, 2018To the Smith family, Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I hope you can find comfort from the promise the Bible holds out for our loved ones. Acts 24:15 promises "There is going to be a resurrection." The Bible assures us that God longs to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them Iive on earth again. (Job 14:14,15) I hope this has brought you a little bit of comfort during this difficult time. Sincerely, Cindy D. jw.org

Friday, January 5, 2018So sorry to hear of Mrs. Smith passing. She was a wonderful lady and a great teacher. Thanks to her for rescuing this poor farm child when we moved from the country to the big city school of Beaver Valley. I remember very well her reading to our class the White Fang books. As much help as she was to me, I'm sure she left a long legacy of other helped students.

Thursday, January 4, 2018Dee was the best Teacher that I ever had...She is the reason I loved to read. She was amazing and had a way of making you feel like the most important student in class. She took the time to really know her students. She always let me take her Thermos down to the cafeteria to fill with coffee. She would sip her coffee as she read Ramona and Beezus. In later years, she came into the Branch of a Bank that I managed. She remembered more about me than I remembered myself. Once she discovered where I worked, she would come in to chat from time to time. Dee was smart and funny and could light up any room that she entered. She was very special indeed and I will always remember the way she laughed, the stories she told and her great generosity of spirit. RIP Mrs. Smith... You have earned the right.

Thursday, January 4, 2018Mrs. Smith was one of the most amazing and kind people I have ever had the pleasure to know. She was my teacher in first grade. It may have been first grade but she impacted me for the rest of my life . 40 years later we ran in to each other again . We had a wonderful chat and 40 years of catch up . Just know that she certainly has made a mark on this world and has made a difference as a teacher and as a person . My condolences to her family for the loss of a wonderful women , who will live on in the memories of her students and her family .

Thursday, January 4, 2018To the Family and Friends, of Mrs. Smith, my deepest condolences. She will always be "Mrs. Smith" to me, my favorite teacher. I will never forget her reading "Beezus And Ramona" and "Henry Huggins" to us in the 4th grade at Beaver Valley. When ever or where ever I saw her, she remembered who I was and we would reminisce about the "good old days". She was a wonderful woman, teacher, and friend.

Thursday, January 4, 2018To the family, my condolences on your loss. Dee was a family friend for more than 62 years and will be truly missed. I will always remember the many events that she shared in our lives - the happy times of births, weddings, Christmas dinners, and birthday parties, as well as the sad times. No matter the distance (I've lived in Florida for 40 years), she and I stayed in touch. Rest in peace my dear friend.
