Tammy Harrison, age 40, of Horseheads, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born on July 15, 1976 in Corning, the daughter of Francis and Patti (Finch) Harrison.
Tammy was an avid Elmira Jackals fan and she enjoyed attending their hockey games at First Arena. She was also a big wrestling fan even traveling to Binghamton to attend wrestling events. Tammy was friendly, outgoing and she held a positive attitude throughout her life.
She is survived by her father and step mother, Frances "Harry" and Samantha Harrison of Montour Falls, maternal grandmother, Jeanne Finch of Horseheads, paternal grandmother, Dorothy Taylor of Corning, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind all the residents and staff at Able2; many of whom became her friends. Tammy was predeceased by her mother, Patti Stedge in 2015.
Family and friends are invited to call at Phillips Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 17 West Pulteney Street, Corning on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. A celebration of Tammy's life will follow there at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place at Coopers Plains Cemetery.
