Obituary of Harley Reynolds

Harley W. Reynolds, age 83, of Watkins Glen, NY passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Fred and Harriett Taylor Health Center. Harley was born on March 18, 1933 in Corning, NY. He is the son of the late Harley and Pauline Reynolds. He married Rosario Labutap on October 14, 2005 in Horseheads.

Harley served in the United States Army for two years. He was employed by Corning Incorporated for thirty years as a foreman, until his retirement in 1995.

Harley was very hardworking, gentle, kind hearted, giving, and willing to help anyone. He loved his family dearly. Harley was also an avid hunter and builder.

He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Rosario L. Reynolds, daughter: Cathy Howell of Corning, son: William Reynolds of Lindley; sister: Joyce Cervoni of Corning; step daughter, Rosie Brown of Bath; nieces and nephews: Sue, Linda, Ron, and Vaughn; Grandchildren, Dominic, William, Mia; and Josephine.

In addition to his parents, Harley was predeceased by his brothers, Meredith and Don Reynolds; sister, Ella; and his son, Eric Reynolds.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Phillips Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 17 West Pulteney Street, Corning, NY 14830. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Father John Forni officiating.

A graveside service and burial with full military honors will be held at Bath National Cemetery, Bath, NY on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 10:00 am.
