Obituary of Edward Hogan

Edward Joseph Hogan, age 53, of Bath, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was born on April 23, 1963 in Corning, the son of Joseph (Pat) Hogan and Judith (David) Everitt. He married Donita M. Galligan on February 14, 1999 in Bath.

Edward enjoyed fishing and spent a lot of time on Seneca Lake with his maternal grandparents, Fred and Ruth. He volunteered for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, he was part of the church choir, and he was an avid video game player. He cherished the times he spent with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Donita, children, Steven (Ashley) Faulkner of Bath, Timothy (Kelly) Faulkner II of Columbia, Illinois, Natasha Hogan and her daughter Sophia Oney of Bath, Philip (Jacqulin) Hogan of Campbellsburg, Indiana, David Hogan of Texas, and Adrianna (James) Hock of Troy, Texas, mother, Judith Everitt of Bath, father, Joseph (Pat) Hogan of Corning, brothers, Robert Hogan of North Carolina and Daniel (Deborah) Hogan of Corning, sisters, Ruth Ann Vorndran of Texas, Jill (Shawn) Winfield of Coopers Plains, and Jennifer Hogan of Corning, many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Edward was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Ruth Houghtelling, and paternal grandparents, James and Fannie Hogan.

Family and friends are invited to attend the celebration of Edward's life on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Painted Post, 130 West Water Street, Painted Post.
