Gordon was a very special person to so many people and touched so many hearts. Gordon worked most of his working career in the food business with the last being with Holmes Plate. He just loved the family as part of his own. Gordon loved to fish and walk the trails at the Nature Center at Corning Community College with his dogs and bird watching. He had a love of sports with the Yankees being the favorite baseball team and a big Syracuse fan for football and basketball. Often having deep discussions with family members about his teams! Gordon was such a people person caring so much for all who came in contact with him. Always making a point of making sure everyone was happy and had what they needed. He loved to be at the grill at family picnics and enjoyed all the time he could possibly spend with his family. This included coffee Sunday mornings to holidays filled with a lot of love and laughter.
Memorial donations may be made in Gordon's name to The Chemung County SPCA.
