Biography

Willmina Tillie LeBaron, age 82, of Colonial Circle in Painted Post, NY, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Tillie was born in Corning on November 26, 1927, to John and Willmina (Bennett) Cook. She married Gerald LeBaron on December 20, 1947, in Corning, NY.

Tillie was a very loving and caring person. She had a heart full of love for everyone. Her sense of humor made her a hit with everyone and she loved children deeply.

She is survived by her husband Jerry; three sons: Jerry (Patty) LeBaron, Jr., of Hector, Ben (Laurie) LeBaron of Dundee, and Dennis (Debra) LeBaron of Corning; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tillie was predeceased by her brothers: John, Gerald, Andy, Paul, and Fordyce Cook.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 21st from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at Phillips Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 17 W. Pulteney Street in Corning where funeral services will follow calling hours at 8:00 PM with the Reverend Ted Roloson officiating.
