Grief Center of the Southern Tier

The Grief Center of the Southern Tier, Inc. was established in 2004. Under the direction of Grief Counselor, Sandi Follette, support groups meet on a weekly basis. These groups provide a safe and supportive environment that encourages a secure grieving process. As members share their pain and healing in a positive way, others come to understand that the emotional crisis they are experiencing is not abnormal, that there is hope and healing that will come. Support groups are open to any individual or family struggling with the loss of a loved one because, in Sandi´s words, "No one should have to go through the grieving process alone."

Sandi Follette is the Executive Director for the Grief Center of the Southern Tier. She is a certified Bereavement Facilitator through the American Academy of Bereavement. Sandi may be contacted at (607) 936-9077.
